《后生命 II》

As in Post Life, Song imagines the condition of humanity in the future through exploration of its evolved form. A man’s body is composed of connected vectors, his head molding to the shape of a triangle and laying on a torso with no neck or arms, while a single leg and patent loafer are pitched at an oblique angle to the rest of the body. A floating watermelon wedge floats alongside the human body and is similarly depicted as a rigidly linear shaper. These variations of strange, though familiar bodies, stand as a metaphor for nature’s diversity, both in the present and future.
