Nine triangles of various sizes and orientations scatter horizontally. Some pieces touch, others hover closely to another, though all remain connected as though somehow attached. This connection extends to their surface representations—the pieces seem to picture a once-unified composition, now fragmented and dispersed across the supporting surface as though a composition. Their distribution evokes the scattered debris of satellites and rockets that pollute space. Where such technology is used to understand the universe, it also maintains the potential to alter its physical character, reflecting the impact of technological production and waste far beyond the bounds of Earth.
